- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆January 03, 2019, by Linda RollinsHaving a rust-colored leak down the front of my refrigerator/freezer, I requested service through my home warranty with American Home Shield. They sent a technician from Cooper Appliances, who looked at the bad part, covered it up again and pronounced my problem "cosmetic". The cosmetic part of the problem gets cleaned off by me, but that doesn't solve the underlying problem. But since they say "cosmetic", American Home Shield will not cover the repair. I will never recommend either of these companies.
